The Washington County Evening Ride is more of an afternoon tour through some of Washington County's backroads. We will start out from the Triumph and Moto Guzzi dealership
Cascade Moto Classics at
13705 SW Farmington Road, Beaverton OR 97005. Tel: 503 574-3353 at
1:00pm. From the store it's a 20 minute ride over to Scholls for a snack lunch at the
South Store Cafe at
24485 SW Scholls Ferry Rd, Hillsboro OR 97123. After lunch, Hwy 219 snakes its way to the base of Bald Peak for some tight turns over the hill and down into Laurelwood. From Laurelwood, Springhill Road heads towards Forest Grove where a few detours take in Fernhill and Blooming Fern Hill Roads eventually crossing Hwy 8 in Cornelius. From Cornelius the route goes west again through backroads to Gales Creek Road, south to Dilley, Old Hwy 47, Hagg Lake and points south. Depending on time available the ride will cross Hwy 18 and head towards Amity, Hopewell, Wheatland Ferry, St. Paul and Wilsonville where a short stretch of I-5 northbound takes us to the
Claim Jumper Restaurant for an evening meal.
